Long lost footage of SRV at the Austin Opry House
Around 1983 I was hired to run camera for a 2 night stand at the Austin Opry House as Stevie Ray Vaughn recorded the shows that would become the album Texas Flood. We waited and waited and never saw the video product come out, while the album went on to be a big hit. Especially after his death, I wondered what happened to the footage. In the Fall of 2009, a friend posted this YouTube video on his Facebook page of the footage we shot all those years ago. It was the first time I'd seen it in 25 years.
